Maria Soto Robbins creates impressionistic oil paintings in vibrant colors. A Cuban-American artist living in South Florida, she paints scenes from her native Cuba, and also uses the local colors, the vegetation and cultural elements in her work.
Maria is primarily self-taught and has only been drawing and painting for about 6 years. She has taken painting workshops under Spanish artist Maribel Cortes and Anita Krimet. She comes from an artistic family. Her mother, Carmen Seres was a professional oil painter as well as her two brothers.
She's a member of Unique Women in Business, EBSQart, The Artists’ Gallery, Art Divas, Daily Painters International Art Gallery, and currently sells her original and affordable works of art on Etsy and Ebay. Her work can be found in private collections worldwide and throughout the U.S.
She was born in Havana, Cuba and was exiled to this country, with her family. She’s a long-time resident of Miami-Dade County.
